Find what's holding your sponsor revenue back, in seven days

You add more and more content, and work hard just to stand still revenue-wise. And the question is always the same: where does next year's revenue come from.

The Publisher Intelligence Report connects your media kit, your content and your audience data, and tells you what to fix first. If you can't act on a single finding, you don't pay.

Before we speak, I look at your advertise page and your content. On the call, you get one finding.

Sponsor revenue gets stuck in one of three places

  1. 1

    Not enough leads

You're constantly doing the maths on which sponsor replaces the one who didn't renew.

    • The same sponsors every year, and fewer of them
    • You're emailing brands and hoping something sticks
    • Selling gets 5% of your week, because everything else gets the rest
  2. 2

Your media kit isn't showing your best picture

You keep replaying the rate you agreed, knowing your audience is worth more.

    • Your advertise page leads with one traffic number
    • A sponsor asks who's on the list, and the honest answer is "I don't know"
    • You price by what you can nervously ask for
  3. 3

    Delivery is costing you renewals

The campaign ran, and the sponsor didn't rebook.

    • Newsletters going into the void, or into spam
    • Lead-gen campaigns short of the number you promised
    • Campaign reports built by hand the night before they're due

Fix the wrong one and nothing moves

More sponsors into a stretched delivery means more make-goods and fewer renewals. A sharper media kit built on assumptions gets tested, and fails.

Most owners already have a guess. The Report tells you whether it's the right one before you spend a quarter on it.

Seven days inside your own numbers

Six checks across the three places. You send exports, nobody logs into your systems, and an NDA is signed before anything is shared.

  1. Your media kit.

Whether it shows your full audience at its strongest.

  2. Your content.

Whether it matches what your sponsors' buyers read.

  3. Your list.

Job title, company and seniority, by vertical.

  4. Your sponsor leads.

Where this year's enquiries, renewals and losses came from.

  5. Your delivery.

Inbox placement, lead-gen numbers, and ads served against what was booked.

  6. Your data.

Which systems hold it, and whether they agree.

One call, one report, one fix

  1. 1

    The call. Free.

Twenty minutes. I bring one finding from your advertise page or your content.

  2. 2

    The Report. Seven days.

A fixed fee, agreed before it starts and credited against the Programme if you continue. No finding you can act on, no fee.

  3. 3

    The Programme. Three months.

We fix the bottleneck the Report found: plan it, build it, then hand it to your team running. Optional monthly support after.

Built for small B2B publishers

This is for you if

  • You run a B2B title, or a small group, with sponsors paying to reach your readers
  • You have five to fifty staff and nobody whose job is the data
  • Sponsor revenue has stalled and you're not sure which part to fix first
  • You're getting by on assumptions about who actually reads you

This is not for you if

  • You publish for consumers
  • Sponsorship, advertising and events are a small part of your revenue
  • Decisions go through three meetings and a committee

Before you book

What does it cost?

The Report is a fixed fee, agreed on the call before anything starts. It depends on how many titles and platforms are involved, and it's credited against the Programme if you continue.

What does "no finding you can act on, no fee" mean?

If you read the Report and can't name one thing your team can act on, you don't pay for it.

How would this be measurable, and fair to both of us?

Every finding comes with the number behind it, so you can see what it's worth before you act on it. If nothing in the Report is worth acting on, you don't pay. If you continue, the Programme is measured against the numbers the Report set, and month three is spent checking them.

Is my data safe?

You send exports, nobody logs into your systems, and an NDA is signed before anything is shared.

My team could do this. Why bring you in?

They could. It's usually nobody's job: editorial owns the content, commercial owns the sponsors, marketing owns the list, and the join between them loses to whatever has a deadline. The Programme ends with your team running it.
